New York Film Festival short

September: An update:

The project is moving onwards! We have found our actors and true to our stated aim of making use of the great range of local resources available, both our actors are based here in Kent.  Our male lead is Jon Howlett and the female lead, Jenny Kendal.

Unfortunately our shooting schedule clashes with the term dates at UCF so we are having to look elsewhere for our location and, after a slight change of plan, we're looking to hire a suitable house and film there, in a ready made set, and so avoid all the furniture removal hassle.

NOVEMBER:

The project is now 'in the can' so to speak.  We hired a great location at Swan Street Barn in Ashford, and moved everything and everybody in last Friday and out again on Wednesday.  Had a few logistical problems with the stormy weather causing vehicle problems and the odd electrical outage which blew one of the 'blondes' as well, but all fixed quickly and we have some great footage to start editing on Saturday.

The actors really put heart and soul into their work and with the Barn as the perfect backdrop to add to the production value, we are looking forward to having some top class work to show soon.

The short was shot with the working title 'Fit For Purpose' and we hope to be able to enter it for film competions in Edinburgh, New York and Toronto.
